Gartner Says Virtualization Is Top Strategic Technology
Gartner says virtualization is the top strategic technology for next year. Gartner analysts named the top 10 technologies and trends at its Symposium/ITxpo in Orlando, Fla. Cloud computing was second on Gartner's list and third was servers, which are evolving beyond blades. Gartner said the technologies impact long-term plans.
