Reflex Security Positioned in Visionaries Quadrant
Gartner Inc. recently positioned Reflex Security in the "Visionaries" Quadrant in its latest Magic Quadrant for Network Intrusion Prevention Systems Appliances, 2H06.
The annual Gartner report is an analysis tool for organizations evaluating vendors in the Network Intrusion Prevention Systems Appliance marketplace. Gartner selects "Visionaries" as companies that they have concluded "invest in the leading/bleeding-edge features that will be significant in the next generation of products and give buyers early access to improved security and management. Visionaries can affect the course of technological developments in the market, but they lack the execution skills to outmaneuver challengers and leaders."
Reflex Security has introduced many innovative network security solutions in the past year. Augmenting its product line of IPS appliances was Reflex's rollout of the networking industry's first scalable 10 Gigabit IPS, first virtualized intrusion prevention for virtualization, and high availability/instant fail over for inline intrusion prevention.
