NEW YORK, April 15 -- Executives at MRG-International (MRGI), makers of the MuseWorx Marketing Operating System, are reporting an increase in industry interest and support for the adoption of cloud computing-enabled solutions to the challenge of marketing services automation. As evidence, they cite the high level of interest among key stakeholders in the marketing communications process in the company’s recently released MuseWorx Marketing Operating System, which is currently being evaluated by a select group of marketing industry organizations, many of whom are in negotiations to partner with MRGI on the service.
“This is the beginning of what we believe will be the greatest benefit that MuseWorx provides for its user base, and that is the adoption of a platform-neutral, cloud computing solution to one of the great stumbling blocks of marketing automation, and that’s been standardization,” says Rob Wilson, founder and CEO of MRG-International.
Wilson and other top MRGI executives have been meeting with a roster of both industry professionals and marketing organizations to discuss the transformative impact that cloud computing will have on the management of marketing communications assets and materials. According to Wilson, the shift towards hosted solutions and the use of cloud computing to achieve massive economies of scale is causing global marketers and their networks of marketing partners to investigate new ways of doing business.
“The trend towards these new ways of delivering services and managing your data is everywhere,” Wilson says. “With such industry leaders as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Sun and HP getting behind the cloud computing movement, it’s only a matter of time before big marketers follow suit. They’ve already automated many of their manufacturing, distribution and administrative tasks -- what’s next is for them to automate their marketing. And that’s where our Marketing Operating System comes in.”
To date, MuseWorx has been adopted by numerous affiliate member groups of the prestigious Direct Marketing Association and a leading publisher of marketing news and information. Additional partner agreements are imminent, Wilson says.
Wilson also notes that a recent survey conducted by MRGI indicated that finding an industry-wide, standardized solution to digital asset management issues such as file sharing and collaboration—which are at the heart of the MuseWorx Marketing Operating System -- is a high priority for a majority of professionals working in marketing communications, whether they be on the client, agency or creative supplier sides of the process.
The MuseWorx Marketing Operating System is built to add new resources and services to its growing network. MRGI is actively seeking partners who offer significant value to the global users in 77 countries of the MuseWorx OS. Extending Museworx through integration of new marketing services, applications, and resources is what the cloud computing model is all about, notes Wilson.
